Our Vision

Our vision is to give speakers of all languages across the globe access to education and services, and the opportunity to contribute to decision making by offering qualified simultaneous interpretation and translation for webinars and conferences.

Roseanne Toritto

Principal and Managing Director

Roseanne Toritto along with the company’s founder launched PLS in 2015. Roseanne manages PLS’s team of seasoned language professionals and heads up client relations. Roseanne studied Spanish and International Relations at Bucknell University and Queens College after which she took on the role of Associate in the Latin American Private Equity group at a large advisory firm. Roseanne used her language and writing skills in this position as well as in subsequent roles in information technology. After leaving the workforce for a short while to raise her children, Roseanne became a Spanish medical interpreter. Her love of languages, work as a medical interpreter, and advocating for her child with special needs brought Roseanne to PLS to empower first the limited English proficient parents of children with special needs and then the broader LEP community.

Rachel Ketterer

Translation Project Manager

Rachel Ketterer joined Philadelphia Language Services in 2021 to oversee the three-tiered quality assurance process of translation, editing and proofreading.  She is a Penn State graduate who majored in Spanish and French with a focus in international business. Upon graduating Rachel pursued French translation and interpretation opportunities, including in a position at MindLeaps, a philanthropic organization where she had an integral role in establishing their program in Conakry, Guinea.  Rachel transitioned to account management and client services executive roles in the translation industry. Bringing her talents to Philadelphia Language Services, Rachel expertly manages client expectations and critical project management in the translation process. 

Becky O’Hara

Finance Executive

Becky O’Hara joined PLS in 2017 in the role of Financial Executive.  Upon graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts, Becky worked as a director at a Fortune 500 company.  After a brief hiatus as a stay-at-home mom, Becky re-joined the workforce in the field of finance.  Becky is an integral part of PLS’s team.
